Order management software for small businesses
Order management software does not have to mean a six-month rollout. DaoudChat tracks your orders and subscriptions with the statuses you choose, tells your customers automatically at every step, and keeps that history next to their support conversation.

What this covers, and what it does not
Being clear beats being impressive. DaoudChat handles the customer-facing half of order management: what was ordered, where it stands, when it renews, and how the customer finds out. It is built for small teams who currently run all of that in a spreadsheet plus a messaging app.
It is not an ERP. There is no warehouse stock management, no procurement and no accounting ledger. If you need those, DaoudChat sits alongside them rather than replacing them.
If you are still comparing approaches, our guide to building an order tracking app for customers walks through what customers actually expect to see.
Order tracking
Your statuses, not someone else's workflow
A bakery, a print shop and a design agency do not move an order through the same stages. You define the steps, name them in your own words, and decide which ones the customer is told about.
- Custom statuses per order type, in the order that matches your process
- Every change is timestamped, so you know when what happened and who changed it
- Order tracking for customers on their own page — no login puzzle, no ticket number
- Notes on an order that stay internal to your team
When a customer still wants to ask, the question lands in the shared team inbox with the order already attached.
Subscriptions
Order and subscription management in one record
Recurring revenue is lost quietly: a subscription lapses, nobody notices, the customer is gone. Renewal dates are tracked for you and reminders go out before the service stops.
- Active, pending and expired subscriptions, with their renewal dates
- Automatic reminders sent ahead of expiry, to the customer and to your team
- Plan changes and renewals handled without recreating the record
- Upcoming expiries surfaced in the dashboard, so you can act before churn
Everything above is included in the plans listed on the pricing page.
Notifications
Fewer "where is my order?" messages
A large share of support volume is customers asking for a status you already know. Push it to them and the question stops being asked.
Every status change
Confirmed, in preparation, shipped, delivered — each step sends a notification and updates the customer's order page.
Expiry reminders
An automatic reminder before a subscription ends, so a renewal is a decision rather than an accident.
Complete customer record
Purchase history, subscriptions and past conversations in one place, available to whoever picks up the next message.
On the phone too
Customers follow their orders in the mobile app; your team updates statuses from the same app.
Order management FAQ
Is this a full ERP or inventory system?
No, and it is not trying to be. DaoudChat covers the customer-facing side of order management: what a customer ordered, where it stands, when a subscription renews and how they are kept informed. It does not handle warehouse stock, procurement or accounting.
Can I define my own order statuses?
Yes. You create the statuses that match your process — for example received, in preparation, shipped, delivered, or briefed, in production, in review, delivered — and each one can trigger a notification to the customer.
Does it work for a business that sells services rather than products?
Yes. An order can be a physical parcel, a subscription, a licence or a service in progress. Agencies, training providers and software vendors use the same statuses and reminders as a shop shipping parcels.
How are customers told that their order has moved?
Every status change sends a push notification to the customer's mobile app and updates their order page. They see the new status without writing to you, which removes a large share of routine support messages.
What happens before a subscription expires?
An automatic reminder is sent ahead of the renewal date, so the customer can renew or change plan before the service is interrupted. Your team also sees upcoming expiries in the dashboard.
